“Devastated” to Announce Summer 2024 Festival Shows Canceled Owing to “Some Health Issues,” Kim Petras

The Grammy winner promised her followers that she will return sooner rather than later and better than ever.

This summer’s festival appearances by Kim Petras are confirmed.

The Grammy winner informed her followers on social media on April 24 that she will be skipping a few music events because of “some health issues.”

My crotch, Petras, 31, said on Wednesday, “I’m sorry to be typing this, but I’m going over a few health problems and have forced made the difficult choice not to appear at festivals during the summer under medical advice.”

She went on, “I’ll make it as much as you and I’ll be home more than ever very soon. I love you so much.”

The “Unholy” vocalist was scheduled to appear at the Capitol Hills Block Event in Seattle in July, LadyLand on New York’s City on June 28, Primavera Sounds Porto on Portuguese on June 6, and Primavera Sounds Fest in Spain from May 29.

In March 2024, Kim Petras will perform in Berlin.

The last time Petras performed was on April 12 at Paradise Wynwood in Miami, a few days after she shared the stage with Madonna during the Sunshine State city’s Kaseya Center stop on April 9 of the Queens if Pop’s Celebration Tour.

The “Heart to Break” singer talked candidly about going to therapy after the triumph of her Sam Smith duet “Unholy,” which won a Grammy Award for outstanding pop duo/group performance, in a March front-page interview with Cosmopolitan.

I needed therapy to figure out how to turn everything off after having a really big song, Petras told the outlet. When I was a teenager, I saw a therapist, but we quit when circumstances got hectic. However, I missed being able to confide everything to someone. I advise everyone to get treatment; it’s a vital tool. The music business may be extremely demanding.

In February 2024, Kim Petras will be performing in London.


She said at the time that the record-breaking partnership and the attention it brought her “took dominated my life.”

Petras observed, “It was crazy.” “All of a sudden, I was on the move a lot and I was the center of attention.” It seemed like a major turning point since it changed how the music industry saw me and my potential.

Smith, 31, fortunately assisted her in adjusting to her unexpected level of fame. “Sam’s an amazing person and he’s been a mentor in a variety of ways,” Petras added.
