Ed is in demand thanks to his employment at Lego

Fans of Ed Sheeran were in utter disbelief as they encountered the celebrity working behind a register at a Lego store.

The musician is so enamored with the toy that he penned the 2011 song Lego House, which he then played for shop patrons. Ed posed with families purchasing sets of the Danish-made interlocking bricks while sporting a staff apron and a Lego T-shirt.

When asked which item was his favorite, he pointed to a castle and replied, “Me and my brother had a tiny wizard set.”

“Brick specialist” was the official title of the Shape Of You hitmaker for the day at the Mall of America in Minnesota.

The 32-year-old father of two assisted with toy sales as he prepared for a sold-out stadium performance in the city.

The unexpected visit occurred after he shocked shoppers in Ipswich, which is near to his expansive Suffolk estate, last year.

For an unexpected performance, the former busker showed up with a guitar, microphone, and small amp.

“I’ve had a week off and was really, really itching to do another gig,” the Ipswich Town fan told the crowd. Having returned to Ipswich, I’m overjoyed.

I have performed here so frequently and I like this location.
