Bryan Randall, Sandra Bullock’s eight-year companion, passed away on August 7 at age 57 following a three-year struggle with ALS, according to his family.

Bryan Randall, Sandra Bullock’s longtime partner of eight years, has passed away.

According to his family, Bryan passed away after a three-year fight with Lou Gehrig’s disease, often known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). He was 57.

They released a statement saying, “It is with great sadness that we share that on August 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS.” Bryan made the decision early on to keep his ALS journey private, and those of us who cared for him tried our best to comply with his wishes.

“We are incredibly grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the terrain of this illness with us and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates, frequently sacrificing their own families to be with ours,” the statement from the patients continued.

The family of Bryan made a request for seclusion so that they could “grieve and to come to terms with the impossibility of saying goodbye to Bryan.”

Sandra, 59, and Bryan were first connected in 2015, shortly after she hired him to capture the fifth birthday celebration of her son Louis. After she adopted her daughter Laila as her second kid the following year, a source told E! News that Bryan had “officially moved in” with the Miss Congeniality star.

We had just started dating when I asked him, “Remember that NDA you signed when you photographed my son?” Sandra recalled telling Bryan during an episode of Red Table Talk in 2021. “You know that still holds…because when I get back from Toronto, I’m bringing a child home.”

The Oscar winner explained that the artist had lived a quiet life before meeting him, saying that their relationship had “unraveled his whole life.”

She remembered, “He was so delighted, but he was afraid. “I am the bulldozer. My life was already headed in the correct direction when this lovely person appeared who doesn’t care about it at all yet is the ideal person to be there.

Sandra praised her ex-partner Bryan as a “very patient” and “a saint,” saying he “evolved on a level that is not human” and took over as Louis and Laila’s parents when they were 13 and 11 respectively.

She continued, “He’s the role model I want my kids to have.” “Even though I don’t always agree with him,” the speaker said, “he is an example even when I don’t agree with him.”

Sandra referred to Bryan in the same interview as “the love of my life,” but she made it clear that they had no plans to wed. “I don’t need a paper,” she said, “to be a devoted partner and devoted mother.”

Sandra, who was married to West Coast Choppers founder Jesse James from 2005 to 2010, said, “I went through the divorce process. “I don’t need to be reminded to stay present even through the worst of circumstances. I don’t need to be reminded to stick by a good man during a storm.

Would you both make wonderful parents to those kids even if you didn’t succeed as a couple, she continued. Consider the youngsters first.
