‘1989 (Taylor’s Version),’ a re-recorded album by the 12-time Grammy winner, is set to be released on October 27.

Taylor Swift is prepared to go back in time to 1989, and she’s doing it in a fashionable way!

The 33-year-old Grammy winner made an announcement about her re-recorded album 1989 (Taylor’s Version) at her sixth Los Angeles Eras Tour performance on Wednesday at SoFi Stadium. On October 27, the album will be published, almost ten years after the first one was released in 2014.

The Miss Americana star went out with a bang by revealing five blue ensembles inspired by the hues of 1989, which contained classics like “Welcome to New York,” “Style,” and “Shake It Off.” The concert was her last in the U.S. until she returns in 2024 following the international leg of her tour.

Here we are on the ninth day of the eighth month of the year, the final night of the Eras tour’s North American leg. Before formally revealing the cover art and release date for 1989 (Taylor’s Version), she gave a speech. “You might have noticed there are some new outfits in the show,” she added.

Shaking It Off for Her 1989 Set in the Fringe

Swift danced while wearing a cobalt blue bandeau top with spaghetti straps and a coordinating little skirt during her 1989 performance. Both items featured metallic diamond-shaped paneling and beaded fringe. She finished off her outfit with a pair of glittering block heel ankle boots.

Speak Now Set: A Beautiful Blue Gown for Her

Swift entered the stage wearing a dreamy bespoke Nicole + Felicia ballgown that seems to have been taken straight from a storybook.

Intricate rays of silver, turquoise, and navy sequins and beads ran down the criss-cross neckline, bodice, and voluminous skirt of the icy blue confection, which was also adorned with delicacy three-dimensional flower appliqués.

According to the couture label’s Instagram post, the original gold version included “over 200,000 sequins and crystals.”

Her Folklore Set with Blue Bohemian Vibes

Swift made her entrance wearing a dreamy sky blue Alberta Ferretti gown with gossamer cape sleeves embellished with tiny rhinestones and a lace design.

An Unexpected Look for the Big Announcement

In addition to surprising her fans with the release of her new album, Swift also sang “New Romantics” and “New Year’s Day” while donning a teal dress over her sequined two-piece ensemble. The style has off-the-shoulder puff sleeves, an asymmetrical hem, and pleated tiers.

Set called Bejeweled for Her Midnights

Swift donned a bespoke Zuhair Murad Couture midnight blue beaded bodysuit with cut-out details on the bodice and reflected fringe during her final two nights in Los Angeles.

She completed her look by wearing a Zuhair Murad Couture beaded garter over her fishnet stockings and rhinestone-studded knee-high boots.

On August 23, The Eras Tour will resume in Mexico City.
