According to Pivarnick’s attorney, she did not file any charges and is still engaged to Vinny Tortorella, who proposed to her on camera during the most recent season of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.”
In response to an alleged act of domestic abuse, Angelina Pivarnick reportedly contacted the police to denounce her fiance Vinny Tortorella.
According to a police report Page Six was able to get, the 37-year-old Jersey Shore star called 911 after the claimed brawl at the couple’s Freehold, New Jersey, home. When police arrived at the house, Pivarnick chose not to file any charges against Tortorella.
“I can vouch for the fact that Angelina did indeed summon the police to her residence. Angelina chose not to press charges after consulting with the cops,” Pivarnick’s lawyer, James Leonard Jr., told the outlet in a statement on Wednesday.
According to Tortorella’s lawyer, despite the occurrence, the couple’s relationship status has not altered. In a statement, he stated that “my client and Ms. Pivarnick are still engaged and are still living together.” “Mr. Tortorella denies that any improper behavior that would need police intervention or constitute domestic abuse ever took place. Ms. Pivarnick and the police have not filed any charges against my client.
Leonard Jr. and the Freehold Township Police Department have been contacted by PEOPLE for comment.
In an April episode of the MTV reality series, Pivarnick and Tortorella, who are currently filming new episodes of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, got engaged. In front of the cameras, Tortorella got down on one knee and got engaged.
“I adore you a lot. While the rest of the Jersey Shore group watched, he informed Pivarnick, “There are many things in life that aren’t guaranteed, but something that I’ve learned since I met you is loving you is gonna be guaranteed for the rest of my life.
I want us to love each other and do everything together, good or bad, small or large, because I’ll always have your back and I know you’ll have mine if there’s anything after this life. “I want to experience everything with you. I want to grow old with you. Together, as one, I wouldn’t want to go through it with anybody else.
I just wanted to offer you something, my best buddy, I love you so much,” he added. “Ang, you know I love you, and I hope you’ll marry me.”
Pivarnick answered yes, but at first she seemed astonished. She said, “100 times over, yes, babe!”
In an interview with PEOPLE on Thursday, Pivarnick discussed her upcoming nuptials while at the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation second half premiere in New York City. She claimed to have learnt her lesson after divorcing her ex-husband Chris Larangeira in 2022 after fewer than three years of marriage and is about to marry Tortorella in a far more modest and private ceremony.
She said, “I’m taking my time now. “Listen, it didn’t work out; I was with Chris for five years. It’s challenging. I don’t believe I’ll ever want to plan a large wedding again. It’s finished. If I ever get married, it will be an elopement and very intimate, involving only a few individuals. We’re just taking our time right now.
Even more, Pivarnick implied that she and her fiance could take a slight detour en route to the altar. When asked the date of her wedding, she responded, “You’ll be there… I really want to start with having a child. I’m 37 and getting older, so I feel like it’s about time.
